Hen Party

I had my Hen party on saturday at Bistro Live in Nottingham and highly recommend it to everyone!!!
I'll give you a brief run down of the day!!
Firstly i was picked up by my friend for the drive down to nottingham from Leeds and was made to wear silly headpiece and feather boa in the back of the car!! I'm got some funny looks on the M1 ha ha
We got to nottingham in good time and then proceeded to get lost looking for the hotel for ! hour!!! However the girls coming from birmingham also got lost but in a more spectatular fashion firstly they went the wrong way down the M5 so were heading to DEVON then turned round and made there way to the M1 but they went M1 south instead of North!! As you can imagine we were hysterical!!
Finally we all got the hotel in one peice and checked in when i got to my room my H2B has arranged for a bottle of champagne to be put in the room (bless him)
The plan was to go for a swim in the afternoon then go upstairs and get ready in a lesuirley fashion however on the way to the pool we stopped in the hotel bar for a bottle of wine and the rest of the afternoon was history !! Next thing we know the other girls had been arriving and we were all chatting and we looked at the time and it was 5.45 (we were meeting in the bar at 6.30 .
Once we had all run around from room to room getting ready I was told to stay in the room and wait while they went to get STUFF!! at this point i was feeling very NERVOUS!!!
Firstly my MOH came to the room with a big pink bag included in the bag was a Pink fluffy tiara with bride, pink feather boa, badges, sashes, a hen night memory book, a set with something old, new, borrowed and blue and not fogetting the 10 inch willy with a straw coming out of the top which i was told i had to drink out of all night!!! She then promptly run off and said see you a the restaurant. Then my other friends came in with about 20 pink ballons, another bag this one had 3 bottles of champagne, a selection of items purchased at the Ann summers shop and a blow up James Bond (our theme was bond girls) which i had to carry round with me all night!!
We then got to the restaurant and my MOH had brought everyone in the party a pink bank inside filled with pink feather boas, party poppers, sweets, whistles, shot glasses you name it!! We all looked fantastic with our feather boas it was great!!
Then came the dreaded questions (earlier in the week my MOH has telephoned my H2B and asked him some questions which apparently had made them both got red in the face!) She asked me the questions and each one i got right (which was all of them of course) i had to drink a shot!!! Now my MOH is a very thoughtful person so had got 10 shots 5 of which were water so i didnt end up on the floor before the night had even started!! No one else new this however so every time i picked a drink up it was promptly taken off me as they all thought i had drinken 10 shots of Vodka!!!
After this i had truth and dares all the pink bags for the other guests had truth or dares stuck on the front and they had to give me them whenever they felt like it!!
The night then went fantastic with lovely food, fantastic service and brillient music we all ended up dancing on the tables all night everyone in my party said they had never danced as much in there lives!!
I did have a really nice surprise which was my Dad and step mom turning up, they had been in cyprus and my mom was unable to make it so they came for an hour on the way back from the airport (they had been up since 3am and still had to drive back to Oxford from nottingham)
I have put 2 photos on my hen photoshare, of my me and my dad, and me and my grandma, great aunty and aunty!
Just have to say a big thankyou for Shelle who made sure i had the best hen party ever and she definatley is the best friend a girl could have!!
And also a big thanks to Angela and Tracy for the lovely gifts (i'm sure paul will enjoy ha ha )
And finally a big thank you for everyone who made it it meant a lot that you all came and shared my special night !!!

There will also be a second Hen Party in Cyprus the night before the wedding! This will be a girls only meal and a few cocktails (not to many though ha ha)
